Monthly Meetings
Our monthly meetings and events give DADS the opportunity to learn from other DADS as we share the unique experiences of raising a child with Down syndrome. We visit about the many challenges, mentor one another, and best of all, we love celebrating our special kiddo’s accomplishments together.
We have a common thread that brings us together and where we can be vulnerable with one another. Often our conversations are about health, mobility, behaviors, IEPs, and things that are just not easy to learn on your own. This is not just valuable for new fathers, but all along the parenting path as our children grow and change.
We invite expert speakers to discuss medical, educational, financial, social, and any other issues that affect our children's lives. And of course, we share stories and experiences that are unique to fathers of children with Down syndrome.
